We have delivered over than 300 engineering and design projects to more than a dozen clients across British Columbia and Alberta. We focus on Energy and Utility Infrastructure, Industrial Engineering, Process Piping Design, Electrical Instrumentation and Controls and much much more.
FortisBC Energy Inc. (FEI) operates natural gas transmission and distribution systems across British Columbia. Airy Point Engineering was engaged as the Owner's Engineer to review and approve third-party inspection reports for five separate Pipeline Crossing Assessments.
Scope of Work:
Airy Point Engineering's expert engineers provided comprehensive engineering reviews and support to ensure the integrity and safety of FEI's pipeline crossings. We are committed to contributing to the reliable operation of FRI's vast infrastructure.
Gygax Engineering Associates Ltd. (GEA) operates in Vancouver, British Columbia, providing structural engineering services. Airy Point Engineering was engaged to develop a hydraulic system performance specification for BC Ferries (BCF) port upgrades on the Crofton to Vesuvius route.
Scope of Work:
Unfortunately following the detailed review and provision of a hydraulic performance specification, this project was paused by BC Ferries. Airy Point Engineering hopes to continue detailed engineering support to GEA, if and when BC Ferries reactivates this initiative.
The University of British Columbia Energy and Water Services (UBC EWS) operates the campus district energy system, integrating traditional and innovative energy solutions. Airy Point Engineering Services was engaged to evaluate steam and condensate heat exchangers for a potential increase in documented operating pressure, improving consistency across the steam-to-hot water system.
Scope of Work:
This project strengthens Airy Point’s role as a trusted engineering partner for UBC EWS, providing technical expertise in system evaluation and regulatory compliance.
FortisBC Energy Inc. (FEI) operates natural gas transmission and distribution systems throughout British Columbia. Airy Point Engineering Services was engaged to evaluate four pressure control and measurement stations under an active Master Service Agreement (MSA).
Scope of Work:
Airy Point Engineering provided expert insights and strategic solutions to support FEI in achieving long-term infrastructure reliability and compliance with industry standards.
The Metro Vancouver Regional District (MVRD) operates the Annacis Island Waste Water Treatment Plant (AIWWTP) in Delta British Columbia. Airy Point Engineering was engaged to upgrade the Commodity Line system to improve material delivery pressure for the adjacent research center.
Scope of Work:
Airy Point Engineering provided strategic solutions to enhance system performance and support MVRD in achieving reliable material delivery for research projects.
